The spirit of determination, discipline, and sportsmanship was on full display as the three-day Bushahr Boxing open Championship 2025, organized on the occasion of the International Lavi Fair, concluded triumphantly at Government College Rampur. Bushahr Boxing Club delivered an outstanding performance, proudly securing the Overall Championship Trophy and bringing pride to the entire region.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha’s 7th Finance Commission Chairman and MLA Shri Nand Lal, who honored the medal winners with awards and praised the exceptional dedication shown by the young athletes. Also present as special guests were renowned coaches Gurdev Singh Bishesh and Avneesh Awasthi, who encouraged the participants for their hard work and discipline.
This year’s championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from eight teams and 140 skilled boxers across various weight divisions. Rampur’s team, representing Bushahr Boxing Club, showcased unmatched consistency, power, and technique, leading them to claim the overall title.

Ashish clinched the Gold medal in 50 kg.
Shyam Lal won Silver, while Vishal secured Bronze.
Manjeet took Bronze in 55 kg.
Ankush struck Gold and Nakulesh bagged Silver, while Khalil Chandel and Mangat Ram secured Bronze.
Chandresh claimed Gold in 55 kg junior.
Gulshan won Silver, whereas Dhruv and Karnat earned Bronze.
In 60 kg, Gagan won Gold, and Harjeet earned Silver.
Rohit grabbed Gold and Yashraj clinched Silver in 70 kg.
Ankita took Silver, while Sansh and Anvit secured medals in 75 kg.
Prerna Gautam won Gold in 57 kg junior women’s.
Vani secured Silver, while Shagun and Amayata won Bronze.
Prashant claimed Gold in 44 kg junior boys.
Muskan and Himani won medals in the 44 kg women’s division.
Yogita won Gold in 50 kg.
Shruti earned Silver, while Anjali won Bronze.
Raghav won Gold in 70 kg boys.
Ayush and Bhagirath Sharma won medals in 42 kg.
Sourav dominated the 60 kg category with Gold, and Vaishnavi earned Silver.
Shubh and Rohit secured medals in 65 kg.
Neeraj won Gold, while Mehak earned Silver and Chirag earned Bronze.
